Each week, two athletes in an NCHSAA competition are selected as the recipients of the Performance of the Week award, sponsored by Ortho Carolina. Whether you walk, run, or ride, Ortho Carolina will keep you healthy why you do it.
This week the NCHSAA recognizes Lilly Ratliff of Cape Hatteras High School. Ratliff is a Junior on the varsity softball team and pitched 12 innings last week, while going 6-8 at the plate as well. She totaled 25 strikeouts and only allowed 6 hits. Ratliff had 3 RBI’s, 2 stolen bases, and scored 5 runs for Cape Hatteras.
We also recognize Tanner Stout a senior on the Western Alamance High School Men’s Lacrosse team. Through 3 games, Stout totaled 11 goals and 18 assists. Stout played 4 different positions through 3 games and forced the final turnover vs Southern Alamance to seal the victory.
