Kelly joined the NCHSAA staff in August 2017 as the Assistant to Sports and Championships. She is a native of Garner, North Carolina, and graduated from South Johnston High School in 2003, where she was in Ensemble (audition only) for 2 years; while she didn’t play sports in high school, she did play slow-pitch softball with the church since middle school.
She graduated from Johnston Community College in 2008 with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Office Administration and served in the healthcare field for 10 years before joining the NCHSAA.
She loves playing church softball, cooking, attending Duke sporting events, church activities, and singing with her family’s southern gospel group.
She resides in Garner with her husband Chris and their 4-legged princess, Gabby.
