The LPGA Foundation announces 2010 scholarship opportunities
for female high school seniors who have played golf during high school.
Three scholarships are available through The LPGA
Foundation for female high school seniors planning on attending an accredited
college or university and they are: The Marilynn Smith Scholarship, The Dinah Shore
Scholarship and The Phyllis G. Meekins Scholarship.
The Marilynn Smith Scholarship will award five scholarships in the amount
of $5,000 each; The Dinah Shore, one in the amount of $5,000; and The Phyllis
G. Meekins Scholarship will award one in the amount of $1,250. The
Phyllis G. Meekins scholarship will be awarded to a young woman from a
recognized minority and this scholarship is need-based.
