Q. Where on NCHSAA.org can I find general forms? For example, I am looking for the Membership Dues form.
A. Click on the Forms button on NCHSAA.org homepage, which will direct you to the “Non-sports Specific” forms page. Here you will find general forms that NCHSAA members will need throughout the school year. To locate specifically the Membership Dues form, scroll down to the “Annual Forms” heading. You will see the “Membership Dues” form located there as a downloadable PDF file.

Q. What information is posted under the homepage's two drop-down boxes?
A. Information specific to a sport can be found under the “Select a Sport” drop-down. Information that is of a general nature and not specific to just one sport can be found under the “Select a Topic” drop-down.

Q. What specific information can I find under the “Select a Sport” drop-down? For example, I need to find the Indoor Track form that needs to be completed in order to host an indoor track meet outdoors.
A. Select Indoor Track from the “Select a Sport” list. This will direct you to a page that only has content relative to the Indoor Track. Once you have reached the Indoor Track page scroll down to the Request for Scheduling an Indoor Track and Field Meet on Outdoor Facilities PDF file.

Q. What is an example of a topic that might be listed under “Select a Topic”? Let’s say I need to find the Eligibility PowerPoint that all coaches have to review and sign-off on before their season begins.
A. This is an item that is not specific to a sport and therefore would be located under “Select a Topic.” Click on the drop-down arrow so that the drop-down box opens. Then scroll down the list of links, which are listed alphabetically, until you find the Eligibility PowerPoint link.

Press releases that come from the NCHSAA and important memos that the NCHSAA membership need to be made aware of are posted under the "Latest Headlines" heading.

Q. How can I find out if my school has submitted its "Fall Eligibility Summary Form?"
A. Yes, news stories and articles involving the NCHSAA are posted under “Latest Headlines” on the homepage. By clicking “read more” beside a headline, you will be directed to the internal page that houses the entire article. For example, clicking on the “read more” link for the Fall Eligibility Summary Forms Past Due headline you will be directed to the page that list schools that have not complied.

Brackets
Brackets for all of the NCHSAA sanctioned championships are listed under the Playoff Brackets button on the homepage.

Q. Are sports playoff brackets posted on NCHSAA.org? If so where can I locate these brackets?
A. The brackets for all NCHSAA sports can be located by going clicking on the Playoff Brackets link on the homepage. Once you click on the button you will be re-directed to a page on where you will then select the View Championship Brackets link. Selecting this link will then direct you to the page that list all the different sports brackets housed on NCHSAA.org.

Links listed under “High School” or “Get Involved” on the homepage are important and relevant to all interactors but are not specific to a sanctioned sport.
Q. Where can I find information about cheerleading? It is not listed as a sport.
A. Cheerleading is not sanctioned as a sport by the NCHSAA. It is classified as an activity. However the NCHSAA does govern cheerleading and information concerning cheerleading is posted on the Cheerleading page, which can be found at the Cheerleading link at the bottom of the homepage. Items like cheerleading are listed under “High School” or “Get Involved” on the homepage. For example, if an interactor is seeking information about the NCHSAA Invitational Cheerleading Championships, he or she should click on the Cheerleading link at the bottom of the homepage. The Cheerleading link will direct you to the Cheerleading page that contains all information relevant to cheerleading. Next you will need to select the NCHSAA Invitational Cheerleading Championships link on the Cheerleading page, which will redirect you to Cheer Ltd’s Web site where information about the invitational is listed.

Scrolling Page Vertically
Often when using the "Select a Topic" drop-down you will have to scroll down the page with your vertical scroll bar in order to view the entire "Select a Topic" page.
Q. I cannot find the Tobacco Products, Alcoholic Beverages and Controlled Substance link that should be listed under “Select a Topic”?
A. Depending on your monitor configuration, you may not be able to see the entire “Select a Topic” box when you click on the drop-down. You may have to use the vertical scroll bar to move down the page to where you can access this link at the bottom of the “Select a Topic” box.
Internet Browsers
Q. Why does the appearance of NCHSAA.org differ on different computers?
A: Different computers, varying monitor sizes and differences in browsers can alter how NCHSAA.org displays. The Webmaster for NCHSAA.org recommends viewing the site through Mozilla’s Firefox browser, version 5.2, for the best results. However the site can be viewed from any browser but the displays of all content is best when using Firefox.
