Each year, North Carolina students work hard to learn and grow both in the classroom and on the athletic field. Through sports, students learn important lessons such as teamwork and goal setting. They experience winning as well as the agony of defeat and learn how to handle both. Athletics help prepare them for life off the field. The NCHSAA and BB&T believe that these valuable experiences should be available to all regardless of economic situation.
That's why BB&T has teamed up with the NCHSAA to support the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Endowment Fund. This fund was established to insure that teams and athletes are able to participate in post-season playoff experience without requiring players to pay for that privilege. We believe they earn this privilege with their hard work and accomplishments throughout the season on and off the field of play.
BB&T is very proud to join with the NCHSAA in providing financial support for the Endowment Fund and, through that commitment, to become the title sponsor of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association State Football Championships.

2012 Football Seeding Information
The preliminary football standings were reported to the NCHSAA after the conclusion of games on October 19th. These UNOFFICIAL records may or may not reflect forfeitures, incorrect scores, or tiebreakers. Final results will be reported for seeding after this Friday night's games. If you have any question regarding a record, please contact your school and/or conference president to get it corrected prior to Friday.

As a partner with MaxPreps, the NCHSAA is asking you to assist in an ongoing data collection project to provide accurate and current data for all member school teams.
In an effort to ensure that statistics are accurate for your team and athletes, please take a moment to complete the Maxpreps' form available at this link:

The data entry process is very simple:
1. Select your school from the drop down menu.
2. Select your sport from the drop down menu.
3. Please complete all pertinent info but Mandatory fields
include: School, Sport, First Name, Last Name, Position, Team Level and Email.
Once entered and submitted, this information is sent to the MaxPreps database which creates a continuous process and current list which is available to you in excel format at any time upon request.
