ERWIN INDUCTS FIVE INTO ITS HALL OF FAME
ASHEVILLE -- Five individuals have been inducted into the Clyde Erwin High School Athletic Hall of Fame, according to reports in the Asheville Citizen-Times.
Joining the Erwin Hall of Fame included Ben Dorsey (football and track), Frank Maney (baseball), Stephanie Freeman Montgomery (basketball, softball and volleyball), Lawrence Sluder (baseball, basketball and football) and Bill Williams (former girls basketball coach).
The induction ceremony took place recently in between Erwin's home boys and girls varsity basketball games against Smoky Mountain.
