PARKLAND FOOTBALL COACH STEPS DOWN
WINSTON-SALEM-- Dee Bell, who has been the head football coach at Parkland High School for the last 14 seasons, has resigned, according to reports in the Winston-Salem Journal.
Bell helped guide Parkland to a North Carolina High School Athletic Association state football championship, after taking over the program in 1999 after it had recorded just one winning season in the seven previous years.
His overall record at Parkland was 92-78.
