On this day in history in the NCHSAA, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association was honored by the University of North Carolina on NCHSAA Day at Kenan Stadium, when North Carolina played South Florida. Topsail, Cardinal Gibbons, T.C. Roberson and Providence received the Wachovia Cups in their respective classifications for winning the Cups during the 2005-06 academic year.
