PAGE, GRIMSLEY VOLLEYBALL TEAMS
TO RAISE MONEY FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
GREENSBORO --For the fourth year, the Grimsley and Page volleyball teams will raise money for breast cancer research and awareness under the “Dig Pink” campaign, according to the Greensboro News and Record.
Page plays at Grimsley at 5 p.m. Thursday. All proceeds from the match will benefit The Side-Out Foundation, which awards grants to medical research organizations and entities that provide support to breast cancer patients and their families.
The teams will sell T-shirts, bracelets, coordinate a bake sale and decorate the gym. The event raised $2,500 last year.
