On this day in history in the NCHSAA, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association was honored by the University of North Carolina on NCHSAA Day at Kenan Stadium, during the game between North Carolina and Louisville. Durham School of the Arts, Charlotte Catholic, Weddington and Providence received the Wachovia Cups on that day for winning their respective classifications during the 2003-04 academic year.
