On this day in history in the NCHSAA, Allison Emrey of Ardrey Kell shot a four under par nine hole score of 31 in a regular-season women's golf match against Charlotte Providence at Providence Country Club in Charlotte. The nine holes were set at par 35 and 2,367 yards. Her 31 broke her own record (33) set on the same course one week earlier.
