THIS DAY IN NCHSAA HISTORY
August 15, 2010
On this day in history in the NCHSAA, the gymnasium at Cary High School was officially named in honor of Charlie Adams, who served the North Carolina High School Athletic Association for 42 years, including 25 as executive director. He is a native of Cary who was an outstanding athlete at Cary and later coached there before beginning his career with the NCHSAA.
