KELVA ATKINS SETS CAREER
MARK AT GRANVILLE CENTRAL

--Kelva Atkins has joined an elite group in North Carolina High School Athletic
Association women's basketball.
The
senior star finished her career with 2,203 points, finishing as the all-time
leading scorer in Granville Central history and leading her team into the state
playoffs four consecutive years.
She
joins an elite group of 2,000-point career scorers in women's basketball in the
five-player game. The total reported to and verified by the NCHSAA is now right
at 40.
