CHAPEL HILL -- The semiannual meeting of the Board of Directors of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.
The full Board will have a working day on Tuesday, November 30, when committees meet to discuss possible changes and review rules and regulations. The standing committees of the Board include Finance/Personnel, Policy, Sports and Review/Officiating.
Wednesday is the action day, where proposals are voted on by members of the Board.
The Board will also hear some realignment appeals, which is customary in the second year of the four-year alignment period.
Allison Sholar, superintendent of the Pender County schools, is serving this year as the president of the NCHSAA Board of Directors
