NCHSAA FOOTBALL PLAYOFF POSTPONEMENT PROCEDURE
North Carolina High School Athletic Association member schools may make their own decisions regarding playing football games in today’s first round of the playoffs.
The host school should consult with its opponent relative to postponing, and then make the decision as to whether to play Saturday or Monday. It is recommended that Saturday be used, to leave Monday available as an option. A Monday game, if necessary, may be played at 7 p.m.
If a change is made in your football game for today before the end of the business day, member schools are asked to inform the NCHSAA. The host school is also reminded to contact its booking agent to inform them of a postponement.
We appreciate your cooperation.
