MOORESVILLE -- Lake Norman High School has special plans for Friday night's football game with West Iredell.
Lake Norman will honor all military service personnel, law enforcement officers and fire fighters with free admission for their varsity football game.
In addition, both football teams will have special stickers on their helmets that proclaim "U.S. Navy Seals--America's Team," and Lake Norman plans to wear the stickers for the remainder of the football season.
The stickers are part of a campaign to remember the fallen Naval Special Warfare members who were killed on August 6, 2011. The NSWKids organization is based in Mooresville.
