FORMER NCHSAA ATHLETE IS HONORD
ICARD -- Recent East Burke High School graduate and North Carolina High School Athletic Association record holder Tanner Anderson has received an honor.
Anderson has been selected to the first team on the All- USA Today track and field team. He finished the high school track and field season as the second-ranked jumper nationally in the high school ranks.
Anderson set an all-classification mark for the NCHSAA in the men's high jump with a state record jump of 7 feet, 2.50 inches in the 2010 state championship meet and he has cleared 7 feet, 3.25 inches.
