Mooresville, NC – Mooresville High School head football coach and teacher Hal Capps has announced his retirement from North Carolina and Mooresville Senior High School.
Coach Capps made the move to Mooresville for the 2010 football season, accumulating a record of 53-22 with five playoff appearances over six seasons. He has coached in the East-West All-Star Game and Shrine Bowl. Capps’ leadership and community ties run deep and Mooresville is grateful for his service. We wish Coach Capps and his family the best as he moves into the next stage of his life and career.
School administration will begin the process of hiring a varsity football coach immediately.
