ADVISORY: NCHSAA BASKETBALL PLAYOFFS
Now that all first round games have been played, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association has released the following updates about the NCHSAA basketball playoffs:
• second round games must be completed by tonight—Monday, March 2
• second round games may be played no earlier than 4:00PM, if necessary
• all third round games must be scheduled and played Tuesday, March 3; a time earlier than 6:00PM requires permission from the NCHSAA office
• regional tournament games will start on Thursday, with four games on Thursday, four on Friday and then the championship games on Saturday
Schools are reminded that it is important to update the appropriate section with details of game time and date on the NCHSAA basketball brackets.
