KELVA ATKINS SETS CAREER MARK AT GRANVILLE CENTRAL
STEM —Kelva Atkins has joined an elite group in North Carolina High School Athletic Association women’s basketball.
The senior star finished her career with 2,203 points, finishing as the all-time leading scorer in Granville Central history and leading her team into the state playoffs four consecutive years.
She joins an elite group of 2,000-point career scorers in women’s basketball in the five-player game. The total reported to and verified by the NCHSAA is now right at 40.
