NCHSAA Corporate Partnerships Overview
The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We rely on a percentage of gate receipts from select championship events, membership dues, grants and corporate support to underwrite and fund programs and services enabling us to serve the membership.
Since the late 1970's, the NCHSAA has had a solid corporate partnership program. Through the years, as NCHSAA programs and services have expanded to meet the growing needs of our membership (comprised of 406 North Carolina high schools for the 2015-16 school year), the Association has sought corporate support to underwrite these programs/services.
Benefits to partnering with the NCHSAA vary. A partnership provides access to a cross-section of North Carolina's population including high school student-athletes, their peers, and friends (ages 14-18); parents and other family members (ages 1-100) from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Furthermore, a partnership can enhance a company/organization's community relations efforts by stimulating statewide sentiment that the company embraces and recognizes the importance of high school athletics as an integral component in the overall development of our best resource…our youth!
The NCHSAA values the partnerships it has cultivated over the years and more importantly, values the people we meet through these partnerships and the relationships that are formed.
